Infurnia is a technology and service company serving for furniture market. It was launched in December 2014 by a duo named Nikhil and Lovepreet Mann. The Bengaluru-based company is offering a SaaS-based platform to furniture industry’s stores and designers.
Nikhil is a graduate from IIT-Bombay while Lovepreet Mann is an IIT-Kharagpur alumnus. Nikhil’s father is also dealing with furniture industry.
So, he was able to find a difference between the visuals and reality in furniture production. Since then he thought of the 3D-visualization solutions regarding furniture. Lovepreet believes that the company is creating innovative technologies. These technologies are helping to connect with various stakeholders of the industry including manufacturers, interior designers, and customers.
Its powerful customization technology allows a user to alter the shape, size, color, and hardware of a region. Moreover, he shares that the tool is incredibly easy to use even for the non-tech-industry people such as designers.

Infurnia differentiates itself by other players based on the capability of virtualization. The fully web-based tool offers the user to click a panorama shot of the kitchen. The platform will instantly produce a virtual image consisting same size, shape, doors, and windows. Now the user can make changes to the objects of this virtual room to transform it into a new one. The tool helps a customer in many ways from removing designer costs to visiting costs, to increase sales creating an interactive furniture.
The current product version for kitchen does not need any assistant as soon as the manufacturer start using it. The product charges on a pay-per-use model, which collects a less pay from small volumes while the large volume sellers pay more.
Plans
Infurnia is planning to utilize its seed money in building a stronger core team of more members along with office infrastructure development. It soon will launch a customer-facing product and will expand their work towards bedrooms and then living rooms, beyond their current focus – kitchen.
The firm is looking forward to launching its service in 8 more cities – Delhi, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Guwahati, and Kochi. Also, planning to expand in UAE stores.
Investment and Competitors
The firm raised seed funding in January 2016 led by Idein Ventures. Till date, it has 25 clients in Bengaluru city started from the June sales, and after the service launch in Mumbai in July it garnered more than ten clients there.
