The Dashboard: This is the first place the application takes you as soon as you sign up for the application. The dashboard gives direct access to all the features offered by the application. Here you can draft a proposal, create a contract, track time, and send an invoice. The dashboard also displays a timeline for the past one month with projects and revenue details. Here you can also have a look at the recent activity and get started with other things as well.
Working with Projects: The projects option from the left panel takes you to the projects section. The project feature displays all the projects you have been working on with details such as- Project title, Client, Start Date, Due Amount, and Paid Amount. You can also add a new project by clicking on the “New project” button on the top right corner of the screen. Bonsai Time Tracking also lets you filter projects on the basis of their state- Active, Completed, or Archived.
Drafting Proposals: Create a proposal right from the dashboard and get started immediately on your projects. For this, click on the “Draft a Proposal” option from the dashboard. This will open a window where you can select your client and type in a “New project Name”. Once this is done, the application lets you fill in more details and attach files and add details about the fee summary. The proposal then can be sent right away. The proposals tab from the left panel then displays a list of all the proposals that you created with details such as,

Contracts: Creating and working on contracts is easy. For this, click on the contracts option from the left panel of the screen. This will direct you to the contracts section where you can entre terms of your contracts. The same place lets you enter details such as review and e-sign and send options for your contracts. If new to creating a contract, this place also lets you see a sample to get you familiar with the details. Creating contracts is a process that goes through 4 steps where you draft, sign, send and accept it.
Easy Invoicing: Bonsai Time Tracking makes it easy for you to create and manage your invoices. The feature is present along with the project management capabilities of the application. Here you can send and receive invoices, make and accept payments, and better manage your projects. Once an invoice is created, it is listed in the invoice section.
