Talenta is a Human Resource management company of Indonesia. Founded by Joshua Kevin in 2014, the cloud-based SaaS platform started by a beauty consulting brand, Bridge Inc. During looking for the problematic areas in the business industry, the team discovered that recruitment of real people is the biggest challenge companies in Indonesia were facing. Therefore, the team of Bridge Inc. established this recruitment platform providing internships, part-time jobs, and jobs for fresher and then formed Talenta.

Talenta provides services for HR processes to small and medium companies. The feature of the software includes employee database, attendance records, reimbursement and expense management, training management, process payroll, much more. It charges the US $0.80 per month for an employee. The company follows no charging facility for the firms with less than ten team members.

For the second edition of Google’s Launchpad Accelerator, Talenta team was one of the six startups from Indonesia. The firm has recently raised the seed funding in A-round. The increased fund is almost US $1 million. New investor, East Ventures along with the existing ones, Skystar Capitals and Fenox Venture made the investment.

According to Joshua Kevin, the new funds will be utilized for product marketing and team reinforcing. Also, the firm has a plan of series A round for the next year. The current client list Talenta acquires, includes Go-Jek, Qraved, Panorama, Mayapada property, GrabTaxi, ShopDeca, Kudo, and others. Till date, Talenta has served more than 10,000 companies in five years. It claims that it serves more than 15000 employees every month. Currently, the startup has 15 employees. It is aiming to reach 300 companies by the end of the year.

The Bottom Line

A new product, Talenta Lite has been launched by the startup. This tool is only for small and medium businesses having less than 50 staff members. For future regards, they are targeting Fintech players for direct integration along with the financial institutions so together they can offer services including payday loans and other benefits. Talenta platform incorporates transparency, efficiency, and self-sustenance and believes they are the key to a growing company.
